Karachi, Pakistan – April 2025 – The International Education group at Cambridge University Press and Assessment has proudly announced that Adnan Ahmed Usmani, an award-winning Computer Science and IT teacher from Pakistan, has been named the regional winner of the 2025 Cambridge Dedicated Teacher Awards in Pakistan. Usmani is the fourth Pakistani teacher to earn this global recognition in the award’s seven-year history.

Celebrating Pakistan’s Best Computer Science Teacher

The Cambridge Dedicated Teacher Awards is a prestigious international competition that celebrates the exceptional work of teachers who go above and beyond to support their students. Usmani stood out among thousands of nominations from around the world, becoming one of only nine regional winners globally and the sole winner from Pakistan.

As a regional winner, Usmani will receive:

  • £500 ($665 USD) worth of Cambridge books for his classroom

  • An exclusive Cambridge trophy

  • Recognition in a regional awards ceremony

With more than 10 years of experience teaching Cambridge IGCSE, O Level, and A Level Computer Science and Information TechnologyAdnan Ahmed Usmani is widely respected for his innovative teaching methods, student-first mindset, and consistent academic results. He currently mentors and teaches in Karachi, where he empowers students through not only curriculum delivery but also extracurricular coding competitions, hackathons, and personal development sessions.
